Description

This is a pre-owned Martin HD-40MS, the signature acoustic guitar of Country songwriter Marty Stuart. Built in 1996, the HD-40MS is a D-14 Fret size acoustic built with a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, an Ebony fretboard, and Classy adornments such as herringbone top inlays, back purfling, grained ivoroid binding, and gold Gotoh tuners with butterbean knobs.

This guitar is in great shape, as it s been played over the years it has accumulated some scratches below the pickguard from strumming. The guitar plays wonderfully, and last but not least: it was part of a limited run of only 250 guitars, this is #166.
