The Knaggs Choptail guitars are the company s take on the classic, 25.5 scale two-pickup hardtail bridge with string-thru design type guitar known for brightness, clarity, and that unmistakable twang factor. We have a used Choptail T3 model with a maple neck and fretboard, and an alder maple body that delivers the aforementioned tone and then some. Given the Knaggs spin, it has a set neck with three Duncan APS-1 single-coil pickups. The neck has a fairly beefy profile to it. The guitar is in excellent shape – with only some light dings around the body, nothing down to the wood, and some very light fretwear around the G string areas of the first few frets. Nothing which gives off any excess buzz or dead notes.
