Gibson Heritage Series Moderne Ebony Online now

Description
A classic re -issue of one of the most sought after Gibson s ever, this early 1980s (this limited run was produced from 1982-1983) Moderne is based off of patent drawings filed by Ted McCarty back in 1958. No one is quite sure if any of the original Moderne prototypes were actually produced, let alone if any survived. As part of the Gibson Heritage Series, the Moderne was reissued with its Korina body carved in an ultra-radical shape that s sure to turn heads. The Korina neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard that s inlaid with pearloid dots. Dual Tim Shaw-era Gibson humbuckers are wired to individual Volume controls, then to a three-way switch, then to a master Tone control for easy operation. Truly a rare instrument, this Moderne is in overall very good condition with some markings around the body. The original case is included however the case handle has come off – though it is included inside of the case.
Includes: Original Hardshell Case
